If you have a small Internet Home Business and you want to market your products, then the first thing that you should do in order to have that done, is to check YouTube and cross check it as a part of your video marketing campaign. But there are many marketers out there who don’t really take it in consideration that much, because all they come to think of when hearing its name are Mentos and Diet Coke commercials. But regardless of that, here are some points that should make you think more about integrating your business into this video marketing solution that you have at your discretion for free.
YouTube was launched in 2005 and since then it has continued to grow very much. After the first year that website has been up for, it scored no less than 38 million visits which is a great number for the 1st year to score. It also ranked as one of the top websites on the internet. Google thus saw its potential soon it purchased it in 2006 for $1.65 billion.
If you have a service or a product to advertise, then YouTube is surely the best way to marketing is surely the place you should start with it. Hey, I learned something new today. If you’re thinking about setting up a website and want to get it ranked quickly, you’ll want to read this post. By doing the following steps, in order, will help to boost your chances of being recognized by Google:
1. Unique Content: We all know that Google LOVES content. Content is king. But did you know that setting up your content FIRST actually will help you rank better than if you did it as a last step? Yep! Get Google’s attention by having plenty of unique content on your website immediately. Unique means that it’s the first time Google has seen it on the web, so copy and paste isn’t going to cut it.
2. Activity/Traffic: Next is to drive as much traffic to your site as possible. Get people to click on your site and view it. Another thing Google likes to see is new activity on a site; add new items, videos, pictures & content. Be careful, depending what kind of site it is, don’t be messing too much with the main site’s landing page. Once your site is ranked, it can throw Google off if the main page is constantly changing. So put your new changes on your other pages of the site.
3. Links/Backlinks: Google LOVES links. The easiest ones to put on a site are social media links such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Put a post on a blog or forum, especially those in your similar type of business with your web address in the signature line that links back to your site. Another powerful link could be from an article you wrote and submitted to the article sites like ezine or go articles. Your goal should be to have at least 50 – 100 backlinks all pointing to your site. If that seems overwhelming, out source this chore. It’s very inexpensive to do so.
Evidently, putting unique content, activity-traffic and links, in that order, on your website will help Google to recongnize your site and push it up in the rankings. Interesting, isn’t it?
